HATS ARE HOT!
The weather is starting to get warmer...the way I see it is HOT=HAT! Specially since I found out I have a skin condition called rosacea. I am obsessed with tanning but with the years my skin started to get really bad. Well, last year I learned that the #1 thing to keep rosacea under control is to protect your skin from the sun...I was doing all the opposite! But of course I didn't stop tanning...now I just have another excuse to wear hats: to protect my face from the heat! Plus, hats are a fashion statement! Here are a couple of my favorites:
I just gotta say, as much as I love the sun, remember to "tan responsibly" (if that's even possible). But if you are going to tan, don't do it excessively and wear sunscreen to protect your skin. Lately, I'm opting for more of a 3:1 fake-real tanning ratio. Meaning I still like the natural glow that the sun gives you but 3 out of four times I choose spray tanning to get some color without the risks of UV exposure. I wasn't always like this but you know what they say, years add wisdom. Just be safe out there and tan but, as Bon Qui Qui would say, "DON'T GO CRAZY!" Yes, sometimes I plan my outfit around my lipstick! Just this year, I got into the "bold lipstick" look, and what's bolder than red! I have around 5 different shades of red lipstick. I prefer the matte look. But there is a red for everyone so you just gotta try different ones and see which one suits you best. Here are some fun outfits that would look great with red lipstick! Spring = dresses!!!
One of my favorite things about spring is being able to wear dresses! It's just so much simple. You don't need to worry about matching multiple layers, I just like to keep it plain. The dress should be the eye-catcher, then pair it with some great shoes and accessories and you're done. I like the simplicity of it! I love to wear bright colors and light fabrics.
